Get in touch
Send a message describing what's going on with your cat. I'll read it, ask any clarifying questions, and confirm that a behavior consultation is the right fit. If there's a medical issue that should be ruled out first, I'll tell you.
Complete the behavior history
Before your appointment, you'll fill out a detailed questionnaire about your cat — their history, environment, routines, relationships with other animals and people, and the specific behaviors you're concerned about. This is what makes the consultation efficient and productive.
The consultation
In your home in Brooklyn or via video call. I'll observe your cat in their environment, review the behavior history with you, and work through what's driving the behavior and what changes will make a real difference. Plan on 60–90 minutes.
Your written behavior plan
After the consultation, you'll receive a written Behavior Modification Plan: a clear, step-by-step document tailored to your cat and your household. No vague suggestions — a real roadmap.
Implementation
You put the plan into action. Most clients see meaningful improvement within 2–4 weeks. Some changes are immediate; others take longer depending on how deep-rooted the behavior is.
Follow-up (as needed)
If you hit a wall, something changes, or you want to check progress — follow-up sessions are available. Some cases need one; some need several. I go at your cat's pace.
A note on timelines
Behavior change in cats is rarely instant. Most of what I recommend involves environmental changes, routine adjustments, and gradual conditioning — not a magic switch. That said, many clients see a real shift within the first couple of weeks once the root cause is properly addressed. I'll always be honest with you about what's realistic for your situation.
